Back 40 Festival Presents…Live Aid 2025—A Concert in Support of Central Station
The world came together in 1985 for Live Aid, a historic concert that raised funds and awareness for famine relief in Ethiopia. Legendary acts lit up the stages in London and Philadelphia—U2, Sting, Phil Collins, Dire Straits, Queen, David Bowie, The Who, and so many more. It was a once-in-a-generation moment in music history.
This year, the Back 40 Festival is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Live Aid with a special benefit concert at the P.W. Enns Concert Hall in Winkler on November 15.
Three incredible local bands—Faces For Radio, Underhill, and the M’Ladies—will bring the spirit of Live Aid back to life, performing tributes to some of the unforgettable artists from that day. They’re pouring their hearts into every note to support a cause close to home: Central Station, an organization dedicated to helping people in need in the Winkler community.
Come be part of the music, the memories, and the mission. Together, we can make a difference—just like Live Aid did 40 years ago.
